Worked example
What it makes
Three questions from a medium quiz on adding and subtracting fractions and percentages, with the answers and worked solutions the quiz shows after checking.
1. What is 6/8 − 7/16? Give the answer in simplest form.
Options: 19/16 · 7/16 · 5/16 · 3/8
Answer: 5/16
Common denominator 16: 6/8 = 12/16 and 7/16 = 7/16. 12 − 7 = 5, so 5/16.
2. What is 20% of 240?
Options: 480 · 48 · 260 · 192
Answer: 48
20% means 20/100: 240 × 20 ÷ 100 = 48.
3. What is 23/30 − 4/10? Give the answer in simplest form.
Options: 11/30 · 7/6 · 1/3 · 3/10
Answer: 11/30
Common denominator 30: 23/30 = 23/30 and 4/10 = 12/30. 23 − 12 = 11, so 11/30.

What to consider
- Each set is one Room; for a week of homework, make one set per day (each one is different).
- Worked solutions show after learners check their answers, so it suits practice more than a test.
Questions
About the Homework Generator
Can I make a week of homework at once?
Make one set per day from the same page: each set has different questions. Share the day's link with the class.
How do I know the answers are right?
The questions are computed, not written by AI: each answer is worked out with exact arithmetic and checked again by a separate solver in our tests. Every question shows its worked solution after the learner checks their answers.
Can my students use it without an account?
Yes. Publish the Room and share the link: anyone with it can take the quiz, check their answers and read the worked solutions. You need a free account to keep and publish the Room.
