Good to know
What to consider
- Arithmetic sequences only, where the same amount is added each time; no geometric or quadratic sequences.
- Level 1 asks for the next term, level 2 for a later term, level 3 for the nth term rule.
- Levels are difficulty bands, not school grades or a curriculum.
Questions
About the Number Patterns Quiz Generator
Are decreasing sequences included?
Yes, from level 2: some sequences go down by the same amount each time, with rules like −2n + 20.
How do I know the answers are right?
The questions are computed, not written by AI: each answer is worked out with exact arithmetic and checked again by a separate solver in our tests. Every question shows its worked solution after the learner checks their answers.
Can my students use it without an account?
Yes. Publish the Room and share the link: anyone with it can take the quiz, check their answers and read the worked solutions. You need a free account to keep and publish the Room.
